What use is the vignette?
The vignette is mandatory for driving in Low Emission Mobility Zones (ZFE-m). If you don't have it on your windshield, you're liable to a €68 fine (simple fine).

Is the Crit'Air sticker mandatory?
Since January 1, 2023, the Crit'Air sticker is mandatory in low-emission mobility zones, also known as ZFE-m. Without this sticker, you will not be able to circulate in these areas.
What does the vehicle classification mean?
A classification system is in place to ensure more ecological circulation in ZFE-m.
How is my certificate issued?
Your certificate is sent to you by post, to the address on the vehicle's registration certificate. It corresponds to a round sticker to be affixed to your vehicle. For example, for a car, you will simply need to stick it on the windscreen of the vehicle.
I don't have a sticker, what is the risk?
Vehicles that are not authorized to circulate, or that do not have a sticker, risk a fine of up to €450. Frequent and sometimes multiple checks are carried out in ZFE-m. In the case of multiple checks, it is possible to be fined once per day.
